I uninstalled it and downloaded it again and it works fine. They responded the next day to advise me I had put in the wrong serial number. So I contacted customer service (uh-oh) by email.
I bought and downloaded it, and it wouldn't open. I finally gave up and hit the 'buy' button and was steered to Sound Forge 13. I uninstalled it twice and reinstalled it twice, so 3 attempts. Eventually, my trial service ended and every time I opened it, it brought up the same screen, I would put in the serial number and nothing would happen. Every day I entered my serial number and every day It would send me back to trial. Every day when I opened it, a screen would come up giving me the option of buying the product or putting in my serial number. When I put it on my computer, it didn't come all the way up and put me on a trial service. I was worried about all the reviews about poor customer service from Magix (more about that later), but I needed the program so I settled on Sound Forge 10. I had been using Sound Forge 6, which worked fine. I lost everything I had ever put on my computer in the last 20 years (about 3 terabytes).
